My mother first introduced me to reiki in my teens. As an analytical college student, the practice was a little too “out there” for me. It took a decade and several challenging experiences for me to truly be open to reiki. I began studying reiki in 2019 as a form of self-healing. My studies initiated profound shifts in my priorities and quality of life, shifts that inspired me to share the practice with others.
I am a certified reiki master in the Usui tradition. I completed my master attunement in August 2020 with Sat Devbir Singh and have been offering reiki professionally since September 2021. I utilize my own healing approach that combines classic reiki, reading of energetic systems, and therapeutic principles.
I also work in the field of development economics, specializing in impact evaluations and women’s economic empowerment. I hold degrees in anthropology and public policy from the University of Pennsylvania and Harvard University, respectively. I am originally from Southern California and am presently based in Washington DC.
